Dele Alli played cards with friends when the thieves attacked early Wednesday morning. The thieves were armed with a knife and Alli and her brother received “minor facial injuries” but did not have to go to the hospital, police said in a statement. No one has yet been arrested, but a preliminary investigation has been launched. Surveillance camera photos have been provided to the police.
Alli appreciated the support on social networks.
“Thanks for all the messages. Horrible experience but we all feel good. I appreciate the support, ”he writes.
