The suspicious object that closed the Borlänge police station for a couple of hours on Tuesday was not a bomb. Prosecutor Ludmila Pronko tells SVT.
– The purpose was not to attack or harm anyone. There was no bomb. We don’t know what the exact object is and we need to know what it is. The technicians will analyze it, he tells SVT.
According to Pronko, an object was found in a car in the parking lot of the police station, the person who discovered the object is not suspected of any crime.
However, a man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of preparing for general destruction. Another man is also a suspect in the case.
– There is nothing at the moment to indicate that the suspects have connections to the murder in Borlänge that occurred in the same area, Pronko tells SVT.
