On May 3, Fanna BK’s head coach was fired from the men’s team without the board wanting to explain why. A few days later, EnköpingDirekt was able to reveal that a side agreement was signed with the players, contracts worth several hundred thousand SEK. The contracts the board says were recently discovered. On Saturday, sports manager Benjamin Tanovic was fired as a result of the disclosure.

However, player contracts are not the only contracts the magazine has come across. EnköpingDirekt can now reveal the content of a contract that runs until September 2021 and is written between Fanna BK and the sports manager, signed on February 9, 2019.

In addition to this, it appears that Benjamin Tanovic has been responsible for Mr. A, Mr. U, and the boys’ juniors, and is responsible for recruiting these teams, also responsible for their budget and finances. So far everything is in order.

The board says it was completely unaware of the agreements between the players and Fanna BK until Tuesday, which was signed by the sports manager.

“This person has exceeded his powers,” Fanna board chairman Andreas Hammar said in the EnköpingDirect online article that the sports manager had been fired. Andreas Hammar took over as president only after Fanna and the sports manager signed an agreement.

But according to the sports manager’s contract, it’s not so obvious that he really exceeded his powers when he signed the contracts with the players.

The contract states that all the players that the sports manager acquires for the club, and himself BENEFITS, then have the right to take part of the purchase price, in case the player is sold to another club.

40 percent for the sports manager

According to the contract, the resale of said player would mean that Fanna BK would receive 60 percent of the sales sum, the sports manager 40 percent. That is if he is still active in the club or not. Under the contract, the sports manager is also entitled to 40 percent of second- and third-hand sales made, which will benefit Fanna.

A contract that is in accordance with the rules of the Swedish Football Association. The SVFF representation rules, Chapter 1, Section 8, read:

“An association may not enter into an agreement that gives a third party the right, in whole or in part, to receive future compensation for a player who transfers to a new association, or which gives a third party another right in relation to a future player transfer or transitional compensation. ” By third it is understood different from the two associations involved in a player transition or associations in which the player was previously registered. ”

Something that is in direct conflict with the contract that Fanna BK signed with the sports manager. The contract also states that even if Fanna BK’s terminates the contract with the sports manager, she is still entitled to compensation if any of the players she has brought to the club are sold to other associations.

Neither the Chairman of the Board nor the member who signed the contract is still on the Board.
