The president’s anger at the silence surrounding Hunter

Hunter Biden’s finances are examined in several places. At least one of the investigations, in Delaware, began as early as 2018, but was made public only this week.

The announcement came after federal investigators submitted a request for detailed information related to a tax crime investigation.

But US Attorney General William Barr is said to have learned of the investigation this spring, according to Wall Street Journal sources. Barr is said to have kept quiet during the election campaign so as not to influence politics, despite pressure from his colleagues within the Republicans.

Trump’s wrath

Donald Trump has reacted strongly negatively to information about the minister’s actions. In a series of posts on Twitter writes that the silence became a disadvantage for Republican voters.

“Vtherefore, Bill Barr did not reveal the truth to the public before the Hunter Biden election. Joe lied on the stage of the debate saying that nothing was wrong or happening, and the press confirmed it. Big disadvantage for Republicans at the polls!“Trump writes.

The president also claims that the investigations will lead nowhere if Joe Biden takes office:

Barr will do nothing, and the new group of lackeys will come in and quickly kill everything.

Biden’s defense

Joe Biden is not believed to be connected to the investigations. However, he declined to comment on the suspicions, saying only that he is “deeply proud of his son.”

Before the investigations were made public, Biden also promised that his family would not engage in business that could conflict with the presidency.
