Kjäll Gustafsson, 57, intervened when masked men attempted to rob the restaurant.

Then he was beaten to death.

Here are new clues in the search for the assassins:

A 28 cm long double-legged knife and two bicycles.

Aftonbladet has previously stated that the police in the investigation of the murder at the Christmas table in Gislaved found two bikes that are considered interesting. Now the leading investigator Maria Blomkvist goes through serious crimes in Värnamo with photos of them:

– The bicycles were found after writing along an escape route from the restaurant and we linked them to the incident, among other things through testimony, says Maria Blomkvist.

– One of them has a slightly different alarm clock that it can recognize, and we are interested in contacting anyone who may have information to provide about the bikes.

Police are now coming out with photos of the two bikes that have been found.

One of the bikes has an alarm clock that is slightly different and can be recognized.

Police also come out with a photo of a 28-cm-long double-edged knife that links to Kjäll’s murder. It is from the Herbertz brand and has a wooden handle.

– About the knife, I am more verbal, but we are looking for information about it, if you recognize it from any context, have you got rid of that knife or have any information about it, says Maria Blomkvist.

She says that since the December 14 killings, they have worked on staff with the investigation and that it is comprehensive work done so far.

– We put a giant puzzle and it has to be done carefully, it all means that we want to be able to connect a person with a fact, says Maria Blomkvist.

In addition to the information on the objects described above, the police are happy to receive information on the murder case, observations or other evidence that may aid the investigation. Investigator Maria Blomkvist says police are inspecting the Gislaved center at the time of the murder and that they have collected the available surveillance material at the scene.

What the film material shows and the state of the technical evidence, Maria Blomkvist does not want to go into further detail at this time.

Kjäll Gustafsson was with friends at the Ströget restaurant on December 14 when two knife-wielding perpetrators suddenly burst into the room. Kjäll tries to stop the robberies in the riots and then it becomes difficult to cut the knife. His life could not be saved.

More than 450 interrogations have been carried out, but so far no suspect has been arrested for the murder of 57-year-old Kjäll.
