Sweden is a great premium market, it is widely known. Here are those who just have to have the latest and hottest, and preferably from Apple.
And here it is, Iphone 12 Pro, and it’s as good as advertised.

But what is even more interesting is that the Iphone 12 (not Pro) is basically just as good.
The most obvious is that both are equipped with 5g, have the same OLED screens with basically the same specifications and the same engine on Apple’s new “A14 Bionic” chip. True to its tradition, it runs eight on Android phones according to benchmarks.
It’s hard to tell any difference in speed of daily use, but a lot can be said about today’s mobile processors. For example, they will soon replace traditional processors in Apple laptops; they have gotten so good.
Here and now, we are content to state that neither the Iphone 12 nor the 12 Pro have problems when it comes to processing power.
It is also difficult to say anything more about 5g that a phone cannot be launched without the next mobile standard in 2020. This despite the fact that we still do not have a proper 5g network in Sweden as long as you do not work or live in Drottninggatan in Stockholm.

The big difference is, as usual, the cameras, where the 12 Pro has an additional telephoto slot and a Lidar scanner that kicks in.
Same shape, but with different equipment. But since the Iphone 12 and Iphone 12 Pro are designed, the same case works for both phones.
It’s clear that Apple has come a long way with its cameras. The step between the Iphone X (10) and the 11 was great, and now they are taking more steps in both versions of Iphone 12. Especially for those who want to film in higher quality, even if they are not normal users.
Even low-light photography has improved and is now available as a feature on all camera designs, on both models.
The camera platform on Iphone 12 (not Pro) comes with a wide angle and an ultra wide angle, which are the two cameras that we had chosen from the three available on the Pro model.
It is not possible to say that these are exactly the same cameras on the Iphone 12 and the Iphone 12 Pro, but the difference is as far as we can see that it is not noticeable.

And the more you use ultra wide angle and telephoto, you realize that it is the standard optics that are clearly the best and most useful, so the incentive to buy Iphone 12 Pro decreases even more relative to Iphone 12.
This with Lidar is also a Pro feature that we find it hard to say we recommend today. Apple notes that it is used in the background to set autofocus faster, as well as to render more accurate “augmented reality” renderings in real time.
Various applications can also use the Lidar scanner to measure their surroundings, such as the size of a room. It doesn’t work as exactly as you would like. If you really need exact measurements in your room, you will have better luck with a ruler.
So who should buy Pro?
Many, and not because everyone wants the latest on camera. Are you sure you know who he or she is? They are the ones who want version x of the Pro version.
The iPhone 12 has a design that to a lesser extent than before makes the difference between “standard” and “luxury” in the Apple range. Here is the Iphone 12 (not Pro) in a new blue color.
It’s fascinating how quickly you can experience design aging. It is with Iphone as with cars; when a new model arrives, you immediately see which model is new and which is old. The same is difficult to say for phones from other manufacturers.
But a really good design only needs to last a few years before it can be reused, and Apple has done that very well.
The angular shape of the Iphone 12 is recognizable from the Iphone 4 and 5, with modern settings.
It should be said that Apple also in this field has dared to reduce the gap between its most luxurious model and the one below.
The Iphone 12 and the Iphone 12 Pro are the same size, the same thickness, one has a high-gloss finish and the other is matte.
The colors are the ones that signal expensive and cheap, but the black and white model that is not Pro is elegant enough to have been sold as a “Pro-look” in any previous version of Iphone.
But Apple knows exactly who will buy the new “Pacific Blue” model of the Iphone 12 Pro and is therefore confident enough to make its budget model almost as good.
