It will be Swedish women’s football in Gothenburg 2021.
“There has been a positive response from a couple of associations to develop women’s football in Gothenburg in close cooperation with each other,” Kopparberg / Gothenburg writes in a press release.
On Thursday morning, an additional meeting between management and the players’ squad was held in Gothenburg, where club president Peter Bronsman reportedly reported on what the situation in Gothenburg looks like.
Now the club writes that they are working on a solution.
“To the great joy and gratitude of the club, there has been a positive response from a couple of associations to develop women’s football in Gothenburg in close cooperation with each other. Without delay, we will sit down with the relevant associations and discuss the conditions for this. Our ambition is to have a solution ready in the spring, ”the club wrote in a press release.

At the same time, it is confirmed that there will also be Swedish participation in 2021.
“This also means that we will play in the OBOS Damallsvenskan 2021 and participate in the Champions League this fall,” they write.
For national team player Elin Rubensson, it was a welcome message.
– I do not intend to do any interviews today but of course we are very happy that things seem to have been resolved and that we can stay in Gothenburg, he tells Sportbladet.
