It was on Monday that ski star Charlotte Kalla had symptoms of Covid-19 with a headache and fever.

The 33-year-old man was immediately isolated while he awaited the test result. Today the answer came: it is positive.

– I feel better today and am still optimistic about a speedy recovery. I have regular contact with “Pliggen” who is very supportive and I follow the protocols that the union and the team have established for this, Kalla says in a press release.

Earlier today, national team doctor Per “Pliggen” Andersson told SVT Sport that he was not counting on Kalla at the Swedish premiere in Bruksvallarna next weekend.

– Right now we follow the process day by day and then we make the right medical decisions when the time is right. But it is clear that the probability is low.

SVT broadcasts the premiere in Bruksvallarna from 20 to 22 November – this is how the 2020/2021 Winter Studio season is broadcast.
