The measures against the crown will be maintained for at least one year

Many Swedes have begun to tire of the coronary restrictions in society. At the same time, the government has softened some of them; Among other things, the ban on visiting the country’s nursing homes was recently lifted.

But several of the measures to combat the virus will remain. And for a long time.

Notice of restrictions from the Swedish Public Health Agency

– We can expect that the measures against the spread of corona will be maintained for a long time. I don’t see that we let it go and have a normal situation for a long time. We’re talking at least a year ahead, Johan Carlson, Director General of the Swedish Public Health Agency, tells Aktuellts Nike Nylander.

While some restrictions have been relaxed, a new one has been added:

Adults living with someone who is infected must be in family quarantine for one week.

At Aktuellt, Carlson says he is aware that this can be perceived as confusing. But according to him, it was “time” to remove the restraining order in nursing homes.

Carlson: “It’s about balance”

– It’s about finding a balance. The important thing is that people understand that they should keep their distance and not go outside with mild symptoms, to reduce congestion and work from home. We will continue what has been successful, says Nike CEO Nylander.

He also says that although there is a fatigue among the Swedes, but that we have not seen reactions such as anger or aggression, as in other parts of Europe where people are protesting against the extensive restrictions.
