The main battle between the commercial giant Höllviken and its landlords has raged for decades.
Two families with a common interest: the fight for new commercial establishments in the Toppen area. For decades, the municipality has received no proposals from landlord Carl-Gustaf Ringdahl and has given the mall owner, Paul Bertilzon, the green.

The Ringdahl family has owned a large part of the land where Toppengallerian currently stands since the 18th century. Thirty years ago Carl-Gustaf Ringdahl rented part of the area to Paul Bertilzon, who the following year opened the Ica store that laid the foundation for the shopping center at the entrance to Höllviken. That business transaction would be the starting point of the infected battle that has raged between families for decades.
