One weekend, 23-year-old Molly could spend SEK 20,000 to go from Falun to Stockholm, party, and shop.
Today it has debts of more than half a million crowns.
– It’s the worst I’ve seen on this show, says Magdalena Kowalczyk, host of “Lyxfällans”.
It started with a quick loan to play horses and a dream of a life of luxury.
He ended up with 11 reports to the Enforcement Officer, wage garnishment and a debt of SEK 574,784.
On the show “The Luxury Trap” shown on TV3, Molly talks about a life of artificial luxury.
He borrowed money and played trot. We spend the weekends partying and living the flea, far from home, in Stockholm.
– I had warmed myself with clothes around a certain lifestyle and wanted to maintain a facade. I pushed what was hard inside of me with the party.
She got so far that Molly took a taxi from Falun to Stockholm and got a quick loan for thousands of crowns, at 30 percent interest.

“It’s hard to talk about something that you’re so ashamed of,” says Molly.
Destroyed relationships
In the end, Molly couldn’t get any more quick loans. I was completely blocked, due to all the paid comments. In order to continue the party, she began to borrow money from friends and family so she could continue celebrating. Several of them with whom he has no relation today.
– I have lived in a false world where I did not care about my relationships with my friends. I’ve always seen where I can get money from, he says in the episode.
“So sorry”
In 2019, the money ran out and Molly could no longer live as she did. She moved in with her father.
In the show, he receives help from the “Luxury Trap”, an attempt to change his life.
– I’m very sorry today. It’s hard to talk about something you’re so embarrassed about.
