Former football club Allsvenskan won the deciding match in men’s division 2 against Varbergs GIF on Sunday 2-1. There were almost 300 people in the stands at Malmö Stadium.
Now the Malmö police will draw up a report after seeing the photos of the audience through the media.
– The Superettan and Allsvenskan clubs have taken on a huge responsibility. All praise to them. Therefore, it is sad that a club has chosen to ignore the rules. And that is why it is important for the police to act, I think everyone expects that, says police chief Mats Karlsson, responsible for football in the South Region, to Sydsvenskan.
If the President of Malmö, Torbjörn Karlsson, admits to the newspaper:
– We have failed in our task.
Anyone who organizes an event that violates crown rules can be sentenced to a fine or imprisonment of up to six months.
