More young people will be able to borrow money for their driving licenses.
This according to the new government budget.

Currently, people who are away from the labor market have the opportunity to take out a student loan to pay for a driver’s license.
This applies in part to job seekers who have participated in labor market policy programs and some newcomers who have participated in establishment initiatives.
The government has now changed the rules, allowing just over 200,000 young people between the ages of 19 and 20 to borrow a maximum amount of SEK 15,000 for the cost of a driving license. Approximately SEK 151 million has been reserved for this in the budget.
By allowing more people to obtain student loans to finance their driving licenses, the government hopes that more young people will become proficient in driving and thus increase their value in the job market.
