What happened in Wayne County, where Detroit’s overwhelming Democratic voter is located, was in short this: the election result would be approved by the county, in a so-called “Board of Electors.” A pure formality in most cases. But here it stopped when the two Republicans first opposed the result, as minor discrepancies were discovered in the vote-by-mail. The two Republicans later agreed, but on Twitter, Trump’s legal adviser Jenna Ellis revealed that this is exactly the plan: stretching the time.

If the electoral board of a state does not approve the outcome of the elections before December 8, the parliaments of the states themselves can decide which voters to send. Several of the key states have a Republican majority in their parliaments and could theoretically send voters to support Trump even if people voted for Biden.

However, Mike Shirkey, the Republican Majority Leader in the Michigan Senate, has said such a coup would not be appropriate.
But according to Time sources, the goal is so much doubt and uncertainty about the election that the states do not approve the election results.
– Rudy has said that he is trying to change the legislatures. His view is that if he does a job good enough to raise the spirits around the result, Pennsylvania or Wisconsin will not approve, says a source.
