Line 76X replaces the retracted 76 and consists of additional buses that run between every ten and a quarter minutes, depending on whether there is much or little traffic.
The bus goes from Ljusterögatan to Radiohuset, where it turns into the Hakberg roundabout, and is deployed by SL after numerous protests from neighbors and district politicians that Mitt i has noticed.
– Of course we have heard, we are there for our travelers. It has not been easy, but now we have reached a compromise solution that we hope will work for most people, says Aleksander Krajisnik, SL press spokesman.

Despite protests from the city of Stockholm, the original 76 was diverted between Ropsten and Karlaplan, according to SL due to Slussenbygget. If you want to continue north you have to change from 76X at Berwaldhallen or Radiohuset.

The 76X line is not permanent and will be evaluated in a few weeks.
Due to lack of space, it does not stop at Slussen on its way south, nor at Nytorgsgatan. SL refers travelers to Slottsbacken or Medborgarplatsen.
To the north, the bus stops at Slussen on Hornsgatan.

Volatile rumors
According to information from Mitt i, the 76 redesign is only temporary. In connection with the transition to winter time in December, the bus can start operating Södermalm and Ropsten again, but without a stop in Slussen.
