The clan moves where the state moved

“Between clan and state” was the name of the first book on clans in Sweden that Per Brinkemo published. It was 2014, and he had to go crazy amid the racist accusations. When he followed up with the book “The Clan”, as editor with Johan Lundberg, four years later, the reactions were almost the same.

Note the title of the first book. Clans usually exist where the state is nonexistent or weak. It is in these environments where clans arise, where justice is not something that is given but something that is taken in part. When a state tries to gain land, it must compete or incorporate clans. What must we do in today’s Sweden to push back the clans that have moved here?

In today’s podcast, Per Brinkemo is interviewed by the side of the leader, Ivar Arpi.
