For several months, Ida Prisell, along with her team at the Haganäs school in Årstorp, had planned a trip to the world of Astrid Lindgren in Småland.

But the visit became impossible as ticket prices increased after the turn of the year and the budget was exceeded. He also asked Prime Minister Stefan Löfven for help, but got answers trying to sell things to raise money.

Ida abandoned the idea of taking the children to Småland and reserved tickets for a musical about Astrid Lindgren, but due to the crown, the musical was canceled.

“The disappointment was disappointing and difficult for the children,” says Ida Prisell.

However, Ida did not give up, continued to search for solutions to reward the children in the class for their good deeds, and now the class wins 40 tickets to the Tropikariet Zoo in Helsingborg.

Nominated for his class

The Jonsters Charity fundraiser purchased 250 Tropikariet tickets to support the zoo after a reduction in visitor numbers.

In a Facebook post, the foundation sought out children who make a difference in society to distribute tickets.

When the teacher saw the publication, she did not hesitate. She submitted a video scholarship to nominate her class.

– Of course there are superheroes, there are big and small. I would like to lift my students, they have an incredibly big heart and great consideration, says Ida in the video post.

Spontaneous Children’s Initiative

During coronary infection, many of the children were allowed to stay home when they showed symptoms of a cold.

In the days leading up to the Easter break, several of the students suggested that they send Easter greetings to the students who were forced to stay home.

“They have sent you Easter cards and treats,” says Ida.

Even before the coronavirus, the children showed concern. They visited senior residents and also sent a Valentine’s Day card to their classmate Rayyan Tubishat, who was at home due to an upset stomach.

– When such initiatives come spontaneously from the hearts of children, it means a thousand times more than when they come from our teachers, says Ida.
