Tesla sues Alameda County authorities due to coronary restrictions that continue to stop the company’s production. The company’s CEO Elon Musk also threatens to move the headquarters of the electric car maker from California.
Due to the crown pandemic, California authorities, where Tesla has its factory, have closed all operations that are not considered socially important. Since the electric car maker is not included in this category, the company has stopped producing since March.
In some parts of California, other companies have also been able to resume operations, but in Alameda County, where the Tesla plant is located, this is not the case. Instead, local authorities say the restrictions will continue throughout the month.
The message makes the company’s CEO Elon Musk look red. The company is now suing Alameda County for what Musk sees as “absurd and medically irrational behavior in violation of constitutional civil rights,” in his own words.
He believes Tesla can open his business because, thanks to the company’s experience of resuming production in China, they have the knowledge to limit the spread of infection.
Musk also threatens authorities to transfer his operations to another state.
“Honestly, this was the downfall. Tesla will now immediately move its headquarters and future projects to Texas / Nevada,” he tweeted.
