According to the Mirror newspaper, the friends have been in Turkey for ten days and have been in Marmaris before arriving in Bodrom on Thursday. According to information from the newspaper, they must have gone to Turkey to whiten their teeth, something that is common since the prices of the treatments are low in Turkey.

After treatment, they must have received medications and been asked not to drink alcohol. Later that night, the three friends began to feel bad. At 3:30 p.m., one of them alerted hotel staff who in turn called an ambulance, writes the Daily Mirror.

Found lifeless

Richard Molloy, 33, was found dead in his room. The other two friends, Aaron Callaghan and Declan Carson, were taken directly to the hospital where they ended up in a coma.

There is currently no indication that it was the drug or the treatment that caused Richard Molloy’s death, the Daily Mirror reports. But the police are said to have tried to locate the dentist to find out why the three friends fell ill and lost consciousness.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Turkish police have arrested two people.
