It has been rumored there but now it should be clear.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, coach Mauricio Pochettino will take over Paris Saint-Germain after Thomas Tuchel, who is fired with six months remaining on his contract.

Mauricio Pochettino hasn’t had an assignment since leaving Tottenham last year, but has been singled out as the main track to take over for PSG.

Now, the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano writes on Twitter that the parties have reached an agreement and that the contract has been signed.

It was on Christmas Eve that credible information came through that the great French club’s coach, Thomas Tuchel, had been fired.

The club costs many millions

The Sky Romano journalist now writes that it is clear that Tuchel will leave immediately despite the fact that there are six months left on the contract, something that will cost PSG Nasser Al Khelaifi around SEK 60 million, according to the journalist.

At the same time, Le Parisien writes that the sum can be significantly greater than that and between 70 and 80 million.

He has played for PSG

Mauricio Pochettino, 48, has previously been at PSG as a player. The Argentine played for the club from 2001 to 2003.

In addition to his five years at Tottenham, he has coached Southhampton and Espanyol.

PSG are third in the league after a heavier fall. But Tuchel, who came to PSG from Borussia Dortmund 2018, has previously led the team to two league titles and the Champions League final most recently.
