The thieves attacked an electronics store that was about to open in Skärholmen on Sunday morning.
– There was an alarm about a robbery, shortly after 10 o’clock, in a shopping center in Skärholmen, says Helena Boström Thomas of the Stockholm Police.
According to information from Aftonbladet, the attackers forced the employee to open a safe. They are then required to have forced handcuffs and silver tape over the employee, before fleeing the scene.
– There is nothing I can comment on, but questions I have to leave to the investigators that will establish exactly what happened, says Helena Boström Thomas.
No person was physically injured.
Talk to witnesses
The police have launched a preliminary investigation for aggravated robbery and are working with several patrols and helicopters in the area.
– There will be a technical investigation of this place, we collect surveillance footage and we are there to speak with plaintiffs and witnesses, says Helena Boström Thomas.
At 12 am on Sunday, a man had been arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
