Sebastian Gibrand’s dream of winning the Bocuse d’Or at French Lyon, the most prestigious cooking competition in the world, lives on. In the European competition, Bocuse d’Or Europe in the Estonian capital, Tallinn, on Friday, the Swede came third and has therefore qualified.

The top ten teams went to Bocuse d´Or. Norway won the competition before Denmark, so it was completely Nordic at the top.

The Grand World Final in Lyon kicks off in June next year. And Gibrand is very hungry for revenge. Last year, he came second in the world final.

In a TT interview in early October, Gibrand said that he has been training hard since January.

– I was not so happy with my position last time, when I got on the podium as second, I felt like I would like to see if I can win this competition. It’s incredibly fun to challenge the best chefs in the world, he said.
