At 09:30 on Wednesday morning, the police received an alarm from a man armed with weapons in Annedal.
– The alarm comes from several independent witnesses. Because the alarm is a weapon, we take it very seriously, says Christer Fuxborg, a police press officer in the western region.
The police sent several patrols to the area. Where the man could be arrested. According to a family doctor’s witness, the arrest took place at a preschool, and about 30 children must have witnessed the incident. The witness says that the police found the man with his weapons drawn.
– He had a carbon dioxide gun in a holster and a knife, according to police estimates that were in place.
Police remained on the scene for a time to speak to any witnesses.
– We will listen with close people if they have been threatened.
Another witness who was present tells GP that they were greeted by the police with drawn weapons as they pointed forward.
– They shouted “lie down”, says the person who did not, however, saw the alleged author.
The man’s weapon is confiscated for a technical investigation, and it is suspected that it is a serious gun crime and a serious violation of gun laws.
