A residential plot in Örkelljunga was cordoned off after a suspected dangerous object was found on Saturday afternoon. The national bomb squad later declared that it was a pyrotechnic piece.
Police were alerted Saturday afternoon by a man who lives in the home. He called the police when he found the unknown object and even the first patrol could not rule out that it was dangerous.
– We’ll see what bomb protection refers to, says Police spokesman Patric Fors.
After investigation, the bomb squad concluded that the object was a pyrotechnic piece, which was seized. Roadblocks are already in place and the incident is classified as an illegal threat.
No person has been arrested in the case, the police write on their website.
