The alarm went off at 03.19 on Saturday. It started with people hearing explosions.
– We were contacted by people who were next to the apartment who called and heard knocks on a staircase door. The knocks were that the door in some parts has been broken, it has been possible to establish in retrospect, says Ola Österling, press spokesman for the Stockholm Police.
When the police arrived, several people were at the scene and the police found a man seriously injured.
– A person who has life-threatening injuries. He has stab wounds and was probably inflicted with a stab wound.
Police investigate attempted murder
The man has wounds “in the upper part of the body”, according to the police. He was probably injured inside an apartment, but it is not entirely clear at this time.
Two men were arrested near the crime scene. According to the police, this is a form of conflict that has degenerated.
– At the moment, we are working and clarifying in detail what happens next, says Ola Österling.
It is unclear why parts of the door were broken.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation for attempted murder. At this time, the apartment and parts of the door are cordoned off and will be examined by technicians. Two other people were also arrested, but will be released soon.
