The national bomb squad heads to the scene to make sure there are no more explosives left on the premises. A forensic investigation will also be conducted to determine what has exploded.

The building at the intersection of Nordhemsgatan and Första långgatan has been blocked and the commissioning affects public transport that normally passes through Masthuggstorget.

– We do not yet have a forecast of when the extensive road control will be lifted, says Anna Göransson, spokeswoman for the western police region.
