A year ago it became known that several pistols had been stolen from the Government Offices. Now one of them has turned up in an investigation into another crime, writes Dagens Juridik.

The newspaper revealed in November last year that pistols and ammunition had been stolen from government office premises. The weapons have not been recovered.

Recently, a man was charged with a felony in connection with the theft of a Glock pistol. He appears to be holding the gun in moving photos that are part of a fraud investigation.

The images show the serial number of the weapon and the police were able to establish that the pistol was one of the weapons stolen from Government Offices.

The police technician and the National Police Forensic Center (NFC) believe that it is most likely the man’s hand that is seen holding the weapon in the images.

The man denies knowledge of the weapon, which is also not found.
