A man in his 25s from South Skåne is suspected of some 40 sexual assaults on children over the Internet. The man was arrested last summer and is suspected of, among other things, aggravated rape of a child, attempted same crime and aggravated exploitation of children for sexual poses, reports Kristianstadsbladet.
– I do not want to go into how the various crimes have occurred, but titles such as the rape of children can be relevant even if they are not in the same physical place, says the prosecutor of the chamber Helena Fredriksson to the newspaper.
The prosecutor claims that the man has confessed to several of the crimes and that there are vulnerable children in various places in Sweden. He was arrested in mid-June.
– Little by little, the investigation has grown and now includes a greater number of plaintiffs, says Helena Fredriksson.
The crimes were committed from August last year to June this year.
