Surprised by the lack of acceptance by the political leadership of Växjö

[ad_1]

Something disturbing seems to be happening in the municipal political parties in Växjö. I was surprised to read the article in Smålandsposten (Tuesday 9 February) about Anders Franzén (C) as a current member of the board of a municipal company.

This is a sender on Smålandsposten. Opinions expressed are those of the author.

Obviously, you have expressed your views as a member of the board of a company subject to the Swedish Company Law. Under this law, you have an obligation to do so to safeguard the best interests of the company. This is the main task of a board member. Your task is definitely not to run on ligaments from a temporary political orientation.

It surprises me, and certainly many other citizens, that nowadays no opinions other than those of the political leadership are accepted. This applies both within this party, the Center Party, and within the entire blue-green majority. Where is the sensitivity, the listening and the humility for other opinions and points of view?

Maybe you can find some explanation in the new young city council (C)? You have said in a previous article that your strength is not being afraid of conflict. It is a quality that must be accompanied by sensitivity, listening and humility, to make a credible, wise and good politician. I hope all politicians think and feel this, regardless of party color.
