The online medical company Kry is accused of misleading patients. According to critics, Kry is playing an ugly game in which citizens are tricked into showing up at their health centers to receive the care money that comes with each patient.
– I have received several testimonies about patients who did not understand that a list with Kry means that they choose not to participate in their current health center, says Ylva Sandström, president of the District Medical Association in Stockholm.

The Minister of Social Affairs is angry
The report has provoked strong reactions. The Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee, Acko Ankarberg Johansson (KD), writes to SVT that the report has shown shortcomings that need to be improved.
The Minister of Social Affairs, Lena Hallengren, tweets that the testimonies of the patients anger her.
“That shouldn’t happen, and the regions are responsible for that,” he writes to SVT News.
Requires change
The regional political opposition is now demanding a review of the listing regulations.
– This is part of your business concept. The fact that people do not republish reinforces the image that Kry has an aggressive way of attracting clients, says Mattias Olsson (S), opposition politician in the Skåne Region.
Welcome Kry
The Stockholm Region and the Skåne Region have opened up to clarify the regulations. At the same time, the ruling politicians emphasize that they welcome the establishment of the Kry and that they follow the current rules.
Unjustified criticism
Kry representatives think the criticisms of the company are unjustified and believe the accusations are not true.
– We continually make changes to the information in our application to make it as clear as possible what listing means. We also have an ongoing dialogue with the regions on how it can be clearer, says Claes Nyberg, Kry’s Acting Press Manager.
