The fire is intense and not under control.
– Right now we are focusing on trying to prevent the fire from spreading to the other piles, says Ulf Asplund.
A VMA, an important announcement to the public, has been issued in connection with the fire. The strong development of smoke means that everyone in the area is encouraged to enter and close doors, windows, and ventilation in case of discomfort.
According to information from Aftonbladet, several helicopters are on the way to help the rescue service with fire fighting.
