Dense smoke development
When the rescue service arrives, they find that one bus is completely overheated and that there is a fire in the back of two more buses. The extinction work begins. Fire causes dense smoke.
– We are in control of the situation and continue with the firefighting work, says Christian Lind, internal commander of the Östra Götaland Rescue Service shortly after 05.30.
At that time, there was no risk of spreading to additional vehicles because they had been moved.
At 06:00 hours, the rescue service announced that the fire had been extinguished.

At 05 hours a VMA came out. The rescue leader urges everyone in the area to enter and close doors, windows, and ventilation.
