Strong detonation in Landskrona
Just before 0500 on Thursday morning a loud detonation was heard over Landskrona.
Police technicians are investigating the place.
– We received information from several people living in the eastern parts of Landskrona who have heard the blast and a blast has been found in Hantverkargatan, says Katarina Rusin, press spokesperson at the police command center.
It is an apartment building that has suffered material damage to the facade and the entrance. No person was physically injured and the property was not deemed to have to be evacuated.
– Looks like you’ve put some kind of banger or similar on the front steps. There are no broken windows or other major damage to the house or the surrounding areas, says the site’s Mikael Brant newspaper.
Police set up barricades some 20 meters in both directions along the street and technicians were in Hantverkargatan in the morning to try to obtain evidence.
Initially, a general destruction report has been made.
