KD’s Ebba Busch firmly states that Stefan Löfven and the responsible heads of authorities have discussed the benefits of more corona infections.

According to Ebba Busch of the Christian Democrats, one of the points discussed during the current crown meetings with all party leaders and responsible authorities last year was the benefits of a further spread of the infection in society.

However, the claim was quickly rejected by Stefan Löfven, who believes it is “completely wrong”.

Green Party spokesman Per Bolund also disagrees with the statement:

Several other meeting participants, including former Left Party leader Jonas Sjöstedt and then-acting Center Party leader Anders W. Jonsson, also reject Busch’s statement:

Sjöstedt: It is not the same memory image
Jonas Sjöstedt also doesn’t remember it as Ebba Busch describes it:

In subsequent tweets, the KD leader has repeated the statement, clarifying that she did not say that was the goal:

Aftonbladet has sought out Ebba Busch and the Swedish moderates and democrats to no avail.
