During the night of Monday, the Lidköping police tried to stop a car inside Lidköping for a routine check. But instead of stopping the car, which is suspected of being stolen, the driver decided to dodge it and began a chase.
The three people in the car opted to drive on small roads over Saleby and Jung, among others, to exit on the E20. There, the police finally stopped them on an exit to Fyrunga.
– They tried to get away from us for an hour before we stopped them, says Gustav Ögren, commander of the police station in Lidköping.
The three who were in the car are suspected of using livelihoods.
The driver of the car is also suspected of driving drugs and negligence in traffic.
