Steffo Törnquist, 64, hasn’t been seen in “Nyhetsmorgon” as usual for a while. Now the host says he has been sick with a crown.

– I just did a fucking crown blast. My wife did it too but she feels much better, she caught a slight cold and is now healthy, says Steffo Törnquist in a video posted on Instagram.

The host says he has had a 40-degree fever for just over a week and that it has been difficult for him to breathe.

– It was oxygen and drip, says Steffo Törnquist and continues:

– Yes, I have been hospitalized for care, but now I am hospitalized with a bag of medications.

Also, Törnquist says he has lost his sense of smell and taste.

– I like? No. Do I smell? No. Do I have the energy? Good.

Establishes electoral surveillance

Steffo Törnquist reportedly presented the TV4 electoral clock together with Jenny Strömstedt, now replaced by Anders Pihlblad.

– I regret not being able to broadcast the electoral program? Yes, you can sign up for that. It had been so exciting and fun. I am grateful to Anders Pihlblad, who intervenes when his uncle falls ill. Thanks Anders, says Steffo Törnquist in the video.

The “News Morning” profile ends the video by urging its followers to watch the show.

– And I hope to see you soon. At least now you know what happened. Take care.

On her own Instagram account, Jenny Strömstedt has shared the video and writes:
