Sports holiday trips from Stockholm to Härjedalen, with ski resorts such as Vemdalen, Lofsdalen and Ramundberget, increased considerably this year. – We clearly see that the people of Stockholm have chosen Härjedalen. Åre is more or less the same as last year, there is no explosion there. But many more have gone to Härjedalen, says Kristofer Ågren, director of Telia Crowd Insights.

The Public Health Agency has not He advises against mountain trips during sports holidays in general, but has given advice on how to do it, limiting group travel, avoiding new contacts and making sure you can isolate yourself or get home safe and sound if you develop symptoms.
State epidemiologist Anders Tegnell has defended it, saying congestion can also occur in the hometown.
– It is not obvious that it is better for everyone to stay in Stockholm, he said at a press conference in early February.
