On Monday, 239 people were treated for covid-19 at one of the hospitals in the Västra Götaland region.
At Skaraborg Hospital, the number of hospitalized patients is now higher than in the spring. There are 47 patients seen on Monday.
Their highest figure to date was on November 22 when they had 50 covid patients. The highest number the hospital had in the spring was 42.
Södra Älvsborgs Hospital is also approaching the spring’s highest records, where 49 people are now being treated for the disease, the peak this spring was 55 hospitalized covid-19 patients.
In NU Healthcare, the number of patients has increased by nine over the weekend.
During the fall, Sahlgrenska has had more than 100 patients, that number has decreased and now 84 people are being treated for covid-19 in the hospital.
37 of the 239 patients are currently being cared for in the intensive care unit.

On November 30 at 10:00, there were a total of 239 hospitalized patients with positive covid-19, of which 37 in the intensive care unit (IVA), in hospitals in the Västra Götaland region.
