“I thought he would drive into the field to avoid a frontal collision, but then he went into his lane. Then I see the speed camera and I connect which is the one they are trying to avoid,” says the policeman who was driving the police car in an interrogation .
The police turned around and started looking for the car. When the patrol caught up with them, the car had stopped. The two men stayed outside and refused to say who was driving. The men were released as the police were unable to link them to any crime.
On the way to the place, the police discovered a bag in the potato field with three kilos of cocaine. The men, who were heading home from Malmö, were arrested and could later be tied to the bag by traces of cocaine in the car.
