On Thursday, a video began to spread on social media with a shooting in Häggvik, Sollentuna.
– It’s true that some form of movie has been posted on social media showing how someone is filming on the site earlier this week. We have located it at the commercial location in Häggvik, ”says Eva Nilsson, press spokesperson for the Stockholm Region Police.

The film is shot during the afternoon or evening and shows how a person sitting on the passenger side is unsure of what appears to be an automatic weapon. After the driver’s authorization, the person discovers the gun and points it through the car window. Thereafter, multiple shots are fired while the car is operating at the same height as the Häggvik shopping site.
Police learned of the alleged crime Thursday and launched a preliminary investigation into a serious gun crime.
– When something like this comes to our attention, we have to investigate if there is any substance in the film or if it is pure acting, says Eva Nilsson.
Tasks: 19 shots
According to Aftonbladet information, 19 shots were fired.
– We still don’t know much, but we will investigate what could have happened and if we can find something. A police patrol is in place and has blocked the area, says Eva Nilsson.
At 7:00 pm on Thursday, police technicians were on the scene.
– We have ordered techniques to find out if this is correct or not and if we can ensure traces. It will be an investigative case of this, says Eva Nilsson.
