Social Democrats are furious and moderates are rising in Statistics Sweden’s latest party sympathy poll.
Liberals end up under parliamentary blockade.
Social Democrats see a sharp drop in voters of 4.3 percentage points in Statistics Sweden’s party sympathy poll released today. 29.4 percent of those polled would vote for the party if there were elections today.
Liberals continue to lose support from voters. If there were elections today, the party with a 3.3 percent support would not be able to pass the parliamentary blockade and exit the Riksdag. The Green Party is also fighting to stay in the Riksdag, but remains just above the barrier with 4.2 percent support.
For moderates, the poll is a more uplifting read: it raises voter support for the third time in a row and receives support from 22.1 percent. The moderates are the party that rises the most by 2 percentage points in the November poll.
Swedish Democrats lost a lot in the May poll. In the fall poll, the party increases its support marginally by 0.5 percentage points, a change that, however, is not statistically significant. However, the party remains around the result it obtained in the 2018 elections.
