How close can you get to a life of security, a steady job, close to your family and still watch the dream slip away? Maybe as close as 24-year-old Javeed in Lund. After five years in Sweden, it all fell into a misstatement from the union.
Javeed, 24, believed that he met all the requirements to obtain a work permit in Sweden. He did, but a mistake in a statement from the Transport union led to his rejection. His last hope is that the Court of Appeal grants the termination due to the error.
