On Tuesday morning, SMHI issued a class 1 snowfall warning over Skåne and Blekinge. And in the eastern parts of Blekinge it has snowed a lot. In combination with strong winds, it can be a drift formation that poses problems in traffic.
– According to the measurements we have, in the easternmost part of Blekinge it has reached at least 10 centimeters and it is still there, but they are snowy villages so it can reach even more locally, says the meteorologist of the SMHI Mikaela Dahlström to TT at 03 or watch.
On the other hand, the amounts feared had not reached Skåne.
– It is a dense stretch of snow-covered villages located off the coast (Skåne). It has been included in the model that it will deliver to Österlen, but so far there have only been small quantities and it may seem that it really will not arrive as much as in the warning for Skåne, says Dahlström.
