A Scanian got richer at SEK 146 million at the push of a button. But don’t count on taking home equal amounts, the probability of winning is extremely small.

A young woman won a total of 146 million SEK, Sweden’s biggest online casino victory. The jackpot was won through the Lucky casino site, in a form of slot machine called Mega Moolah Jackpot and which is available at several different gaming sites around the world.
Of course, a life-changing win for the Scanian woman.
“Words cannot describe how happy I am. I think it will be a while before I understand how much money this is about,” the winner says according to a casino news release.
But to earn that much money, of course, luck is required. Even very lucky.
– We did a quick calculation of what the probability is and it is extremely small, says David Schwieler, who works with business development at Glitnor Group, which runs the Lucky casino site, for HD and Sydsvenskan.
Estimate the chance of winning to one in hundreds of millions.
– Theoretically, probability can hardly be counted on.
What is the jackpot based on? Does the money come from everyone who gambled and didn’t win the big house?
– It’s a progressive jackpot. All game companies that have the game pay a small incentive for the jackpot to grow. It grows with players and gaming companies over time, says David Schwieler.
