The alarm for the accident reached the rescue service shortly after 8:30 p.m. Thursday night.

One of the vehicles turned and was thrown into a meadow. The other car ended up in a ditch. Three people were immobilized.
Siri, 5, did not survive the collision. The father suffered minor injuries and the one-year-old brother miraculously survived without injury.
Through the children’s grandmother, Kvällsposten had the opportunity to publish the photo of the father of her beloved daughter. The grandmother emphasizes that both parents want the daughter’s image to stand out, so that the tragic event does not become a number in the accident statistics.
The grandmother also says that the whole family is currently in the hospital and that there is chaos in the family.

On Facebook, the father writes about his love for the daughter:

The father ends his post with the fact that now they do not get more days together, that he does not receive more hugs or the opportunity to have a nocturnal daughter every night.
He writes:

Another person was killed in the accident, a woman in her 60s who was riding in the same car as the alleged drunk driver.
Not stopped
The driver has positively flown and is suspected of gross negligence in traffic, drunkenness, and causing bodily injury and death of another person. It is unclear how affected the man was.
He was also injured in the accident and was treated at the hospital on Friday. The prosecutor later ruled that he should not be detained.
Due to the incident, the Siri preschool closed. On Friday evening, the Oskarström church opened its doors to give the public the opportunity to mourn and light candles for the victims.

At the same time, mourners also gathered along the country road where the accident occurred. People left flowers, teddy bears, and lit candles.
