Anita Lindblom fell asleep on September 6 after a brief illness. Her son, Jörgen Lindblom Andersén, confirms TT’s death.
Anita Lindblom turned 82 years old.
The popular artist is known, among other things, for having sung “Así es la vida.” The hit song received Swedish lyrics from Stikkan Andersson in 1961. From the beginning it is a cover of the American singer Roy Hamilton’s “You can have her”.
However, Lindblom’s breakthrough as an artist came earlier. He made his debut with the album “Ljuva ungkarstid” in 1956 and was already on the Scalarevyn stage the following year. Her song was the song “When the Swedish girl kisses, she kisses with her mouth open.”
Stormy marriage
Between 1966 and 1970, Anita Lindblom was married to boxer Bosse Högberg. The relationship was often noticed in the media and later described as stormy.
When the marriage ended, Anita Lindblom moved to France, where she lived much of her life. However, the move from Sweden did not mean that she left her career on the shelf. In the early 1970s, she appeared in such films as “A Love Story” and “Rännstensungar”. Also, she put on some successful pub shows at Stockholm’s Hamburger Börs.
But when the 1980s began, Lindblom withdrew from the spotlight. During his last years he lived in the resort town of Cannes on the southern coast of France.
