Simon had to quit “Idol”.
In the final on Friday tonight on Idol, which was also a quarterfinal, it was finally between Nadja and Simon.
After the spectators gave their opinion, it was Simon Karlsson’s turn to leave the competition.
-Never in my life I would have dreamed of doing something like that, he says in the transmission.
The theme of the evening was love and there was a lot of emotion, tears and a great ovation from the jury. The idols performed two love songs each and after the viewers gave their opinion, it was in the middle. Nadja holm Y Simon Karlsson.
In the end, it was Simon Karlsson’s turn to leave Idol.
– I feel calm. Still feels good, he says.

Pär Lernström thinks Simon was a pretty shy guy at the start of the season, but not quite that shy anymore.
– I have come out of my shell a little thanks to this, says Simon Karlsson.

Words from the jury: Done enormously well
Simon Karlsson’s performance with “Just as you want” by Jens hult made an impression. He dedicated the song to his grandfather and a friend who is no longer with us today.
– I was completely captivated by the story of Simon there with his friend and grandfather, he says Anders Bagge.
– He gave himself 200 percent and exposed his heart. He leaves here with a nice last number. I won’t forget it anyway, says Bagge.

I wouldn’t say Simon was worse than anyone tonight, but it’s also about what they’ve amassed for engagement over the past few weeks. I think Simon has done very well, he says.
– He has shown when he is at his best, and there are no surprises left.
