TV4 also announces that all participants in the production will be tested before the final on Friday.

Camitz tells TV4 that he feels “good under the circumstances.”

From the beginning, the corona pandemic has marked this year’s “Idol” season. During Friday’s finale, 50 people are allowed in the studio according to current audience restrictions, but to continue to have an audience feel, TV4 has launched the so-called Swedish Wall, where viewers can see themselves live from their rooms. to be.

There is a set of rules

Nikki Amini of the jury tells TT that the production is geared up for an event like this, but doesn’t want to go into detail about how the rules are designed.

– There is a set of rules to be adopted, he says.

However, 22-year-old Nadja Holm from Piteå thinks it’s good that TV4 is running “Idol” under these circumstances, because it gives viewers hope.

– I think a lot about older people who are trapped in their homes and maybe they only have television or radio to socialize, he says.

During Friday’s finale, she will challenge herself with Beyoncé’s “Freedom.” Ever since Nadja Holm started investing in music, she has had a tactic of always singing “slightly difficult songs.” A strategy that he plans to continue throughout “Idol.”

– I’ve made sure to focus on artists who are completely sick, like Christina Aguilera. I’ve listened to her a lot and sung her songs, so my voice is forced to be able to sing them, she says.

Launch “Idol” podcast

During the press conference, Nikki Amini’s jury colleagues called this year’s lineup the “strongest ever.” She herself does not want to go that far.

– I have retired to say those clichés, I was about to say! There are some in this year’s starting field who are very good, then there are some who have a lot to work on. But of course, there are many who can sing well this year. In previous seasons, there has been a concern for the basics, the quality of the song. And there we agree that we feel safe now, he says.

This year’s “Idol” season contains several new elements. Nikki Amini and Alexander Kronlund will record the “Podcast Idol” together, where they will develop their thoughts on this year’s season. Anders Bagge hosts a live TV show that begins 20 minutes before the music competition, “Bagge’s Pre-party.” Kishti Tomita, in turn, will direct “Course with Christ” where she gives advice on singing technique and how to prepare for selections on “Idol”.

– We feel that this space was needed, a forum where in a calmer context we can discuss and reflect on Friday’s final and what is said on social networks and other media, says Nikki Amini.
