It was at 4pm on Friday that police were alerted to an address in Borås due to the shooting.
According to initial information, another masked man shot a man in his 25s in the leg. Since then, the suspect has escaped from the scene and a police operation is currently underway at the scene.
An ambulance has been at the scene to treat the injured. You have to go to the hospital first.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into the assassination attempt.
About an hour after the shooting, police arrested four men in a car in a parking lot. The men are suspected of being involved in the shooting.
– The men are in their 20s and 30s and were not arrested that far from the crime scene. We received good information, escape route and signals initially, which led us to them, says Peter Adlersson, press spokesman for the police in the West region.
The car has been seized by the police for a technical investigation.
