It was at 8.15pm on Saturday night when the alarm came to the police.
– We have received several independent people who have called 112 and discussed this, says Andreas Odén, Police duty officer.
According to the police, the shooting took place in a residential area of Sommarvädersgatan in Biskopsgården. Police do not currently know if the shots were aimed at a person, a house or a door.
– At present, we do not know if someone is injured or dead, says Andreas Odén.
Witness heard shots
– I was leaving, when I heard through the front door that it was small, then we ran in, says a witness to GP.
– It’s full of policemen right now, it’s full of helicopters circling, says the witness.
The police know for a fact that shots have been fired.
– We have made findings on the site that allow us to be sure of it.
Police search with dogs and helicopter.
The place where the shooting took place is cordoned off. Police are searching for the perpetrators in a large operation through the area with dogs and helicopters.
– The focus is now on trying to arrest these perpetrators, says Andreas Odén.
There is no clear signal that the police want to leave at this time, nor any information on the suspicious motives.
– The site is now cordoned off so we can do a technical investigation.
An arrested person
Just before 10 p.m. on Saturday night, the police announced that a person had been arrested.
– It seems that two people were on the moped, one person has been arrested, says Andreas Odén, to TT.
